Tomorrowland Reveals the Plan For its Most Surprising 2015 Headliner
Tomorrowland’s Boom flagship festival raised eyebrows upon the unveiling of its first 2015 headliner, The National Orchestra of Belgium (who will be performing as ‘The Symphony of Unity’). Just weeks away from opening day, organizers have offered a glimpse at the plans for their curveball booking.
The minute-long vignette, which can be viewed below, shows members of the orchestra rehearsing for the genre-merging performance, along with a caption: “Expect the most iconic anthems ever performed by live instruments.”
As one spokesperson previews for the camera, “The arrangements are…to my opinion, very, very rich and variated; a lot of [gasps] freezing moments and then…you have all the fireworks, which is going out, which is possible with – don’t forget…real, normal instruments. I think it will be fun.”
The orchestra performance transpires on Sunday, July 26 at the Opera Stage at the conclusion of a busy weekend. The ‘Kingdom of Melodia’ will open its gates to dance fans from around the world, who will have their pick of many a themed stage such as Q-Dance, Cocoon, Paradise and Trance Addict, along with the festival’s main stage centerpiece.
